If you have booster cables and a friend or neighbour willing to help you out, you can boost your battery on your own.
**Vehicles should be connected for 5-10 minutes.
If your car battery has reached the end of its life, it may not be possible to boost it and you’ll have to get a replacement.
Always connect the red (positive) terminals first and then the negative. When disconnecting, take off the black cables first before the red.
Once connected, both vehicles should run for about 5-10 minutes. After they are disconnected, the dead battery should continue to run for some time to ensure it does not die again.
